# Billing & the Free Trial

> The 7-day trial, plans, and usage limits

Every new account starts on a **7-day Free Trial** — the full product, no credit card, with limits at half of the Starter plan's. When the trial ends, the app locks (billing and settings stay reachable) until you pick a plan.

## Plans

Paid plans — **Starter**, **Pro**, and **Enterprise** — differ by limits, not features:

* **Storage** for workspace files and media
* **Connected integrations** per workspace
* **Team members** per workspace
* **Monthly AI budget** for content generation
* **Number of workspaces**

Current numbers and prices live on the [pricing page](https://automate.it.com/pricing); monthly and yearly billing are both available.

## Usage

The **Billing** screen shows where you stand against each limit in real time.

Hitting a limit blocks the specific action with an upgrade prompt rather than degrading anything already published, and a `usage limit reached` notification fires so it's never a silent failure. AI usage is metered by actual model cost and resets monthly.
